Acknowledgments

No book ever written has been a product of the author himself. There is always a number of people involved in the actual work which results in you sitting down and turning the pages. The same is true about the Mystery beyond the Veil. There are many who contributed to its final look and I am thankful to God for every one of them.

Words can never express my gratitude to God for giving me the privilege to sit under the teachings of our dear Brother Cecil and Sister Mavis duCille, who first introduced me to the heavenly understanding of the Tabernacle of Moses in the Wilderness. Their selfless dedication to God and God’s people in proclaiming the Gospel of the Kingdom changed many people’s lives including mine. Mystery beyond the Veil is actually a simplified version of Brother duCille’s book The Pattern.

Also, I am very grateful for those who have taken the apostolic vision as given by God to Brother duCille and have been expanding on it so that the church might grow in the knowledge of God and His love. In amongst those who influenced my life the most I must especially thank God for Brother Burt and Sister Nancy Asbill, Brother George and Sister Sue Herrig, Brother Martin and Sister Kristyna Kluson and Brother Barak and Sister Stacy Asbill. Thank you for taking the raw meat of the Word of God and making it in to food easier to understand for the Body of Christ.

If you think that books just get written and printed, you are mistaken. It takes numerous writings, rewritings and editings to reach the desired end. Thank you, the Keeping In Touch bulletin staff – Sisters Shannon Asbill, Stacy Asbill, Kate Chattic, and Melissa Trotter – for all your late night and sometimes even early morning hours dedicated to this work. Your labor of love is hidden in heaven with the Lord and much appreciated even in this earth.

Kristi Wickboldt has been a tremendous blessing to the completion of this book. Without her giving herself to the Lord first and then to the Body of Christ none of the drawings in this book would be done. Thank you, Kristi, for putting God first in your life.

Another artist, Susannah Sigwarth, has given face to Aaron, the main character in this book. Thank you, Susie, for all the years you faithfully labored with me in the Keeping In Touch for KIDS bulletin where Aaron was first portrayed.

Special thanks to Donna Berger for the cover of this book. Thank you, Donna, for capturing the thought and making it into something that reaches beyond my expectations.

Last, but in no wise the least, I must thank my dear husband, Paul Davis, for his continual support in my walk with the Lord. Thank you for your encouragement and for letting me stay up late and write; also, for making me understand that “with God all things are possible.”

I send this book in to the hands of you, dear readers, with a prayer that it would point you to the One in Whom we have believed; also, Who is able to keep you from falling and present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy.

Yours in His service,
Pavlina Davis
